Objectives

  • Develop and launch a plan that uses the opening of the Health Sciences Center to raise Sinclair’s profile with key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Expand efforts to position Sinclair as a nationally recognized, innovative healthcare academic center.
  • Build awareness and visibility of the new facility as delivering on a promise kept to the community during the past campaign and to differentiate Sinclair from its competitors.
  • Implement strategies to generate earned media for Sinclair Health Sciences program, the new facility and the long-term impact for the region.

Deliverables

Work with Sinclair team to:

  • Further develop and finalize the strategic communications framework and plan for the Health Sciences Center.
  • Develop message platform for key initiatives.
  • Develop social media/digital plan with editorial calendar, content and options for ads as needed for key events. Focus on working with Sinclair social media team to optimize content and web channels.
  • Continuously create content for use over promotion period.
  • Use short, simple and informative Facebook videos produced by Sinclair team.
  • Leverage the Sinclair brand and identify and maximize media opportunities as well as look for ways to add Sinclair’s point of view to national health care stories/trends like simulation training and/or the use of allied health professionals in value based care plans.
  • Develop media outreach strategy and identify media outlets and opportunities.
  • Develop press releases.
  • Develop Health Sciences Center Launch thematic concepts.
  • Assist with concepts for story banking and testimonials.
  • Develop content for materials; work with Sinclair designers to finalize invite and tour script for key leader tours of the Health Sciences Center, with social media sharing opportunities clearly identified; and potentially develop video tour updates for website.
  • Provide database overview and fill in gaps for events and functions.
  • Provide concepts and ideas for ribbon cutting/public unveilings.
  • Develop concept and content to attract visibility and a large audience/attendance for a community wellness event; provide support in securing partners.
  • Recognize donors, partners and leadership in the Health Sciences Strategic Planning process for their work and partnership in this process.
  • Provide effective communications counsel and support for Sinclair team as needed and as allotted time allows.
